Cheese, chocolate and mountains - yes, the hills really are alive! My first forays into the Swiss mountains were when I completed the Tour de Monte Rosa and Tour du Mont Blanc. The mountains there always fill me with joy due to the abundance of alpine flower meadows. Nowadays I get to work there, predominantly in the Vaude and Valais cantons, introducing groups to the joys of exploring the mountains on multi-day treks.
