Scotland
My first experience of Scotland was on a white water kayaking trip in the north west Highlands. On our ‘rest’ day we decided to head up Ben Nevis to stretch our legs. Since then I have spent many incredible days sea kayaking, bagging Munroes, climbing, sleeping in snow holes and bothies, not to mention leading clients on the West Highland Way and further afield. I lived in Torridon for the best part of a year exploring the local area as much as possible. As you can see, it is utterly beautiful, and while the whales, seals, sea eagles and otters are incredible to witness, it’s a shame about the midges!
